These terms are an agreement between you and Anxious Eddy Inc. (“we”, “us”), the maker of Wager Bros. By playing, you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t play.
Playing the game
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play Wager Bros for your own entertainment. Don’t copy, resell, reverse-engineer or modify the game, or use cheats, bots or exploits.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to play.
Cards, wagers and virtual items
Cards, Custom cards, card backs and other in-game items are virtual items with no real-world value. They are licensed to you, not sold, and can’t be exchanged for money or traded outside the game.
Wager Battles are a game feature, not gambling: you stake a card from your collection against another player’s card. If you win, you get their staked card; if you lose, your staked card goes to them. If you leave before a match officially starts, nothing changes hands. After it starts, if you disconnect you have 60 seconds to come back; otherwise you forfeit and your staked card goes to your opponent. If our server fails during a match, the match is cancelled and nothing changes hands.
To keep matches quick, you may sometimes be matched with computer opponents.
Purchases
The Full Game is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. Use Restore purchase to get it back on a new device.
What you create
You keep the ideas behind what you make in the Card Studio, and you let us store and show it in the game so it works (for example, showing your Custom card to an opponent). Don’t give cards or player names anything offensive, hateful, sexual, or that copies someone else’s work or name. We may rename or remove anything that breaks these rules.
Fair play
Be decent to other players. We may suspend or close accounts that cheat, harass others or break these terms. You can stop playing and delete your account at any time.
Changes and availability
We keep improving the game, so features, cards, and the rules of play may change, and we may reset or rebalance things when needed. We’ll try to keep the game available but can’t promise it will always be online or error-free.
The legal part
The game is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for more than the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection laws, including Québec’s.
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and of Canada. Wager Bros, its art and its game are owned by Anxious Eddy Inc. Library artwork is public domain; credits are shown in the game.
Apple users
If you downloaded Wager Bros from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple isn’t responsible for the game or its support, and Apple’s standard licence terms also apply.
